What Inspired Me

My book inspiration is a result of a deep desire to stir and guide the mind of my children toward thoughts that align with biblical teaching.

The story of The Lion, the Shepherd Boy, and His Sheep discusses a young lad who is very fond of his sheep, protective of his sheep, and seemingly always physically present. That is until this young lad had to leave his sheep for some time. Guilelessly, his sheep were terrified at the thought of their shepherd boy’s absence because they would have to face their biggest fear, the fearsome lion who had been waiting for the slightest opportunity to glance his jaws at the sheep. What happens next is mystifying.

The theme is centered on the importance of being confident in God’s love, and not giving into fear.

Children who believe in God’s love also have that provision of His presence and protection from fearful situations.

The theme scripture, Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” (New Living Translation, NLT)

This book takes place in a country setting in the Western Africa

The main characters of the story are the Shepherd Boy, The Sheep, and the Lion. The story centers around these three personalities

This book appeals to its readers because it is funny, yet will keep on the edge of your chair, while it teaches some on the provision that the love of God provides for his children.

This book speaks volume today. Children are faced with very different and unique challenges. Therefore, providing our children with the right material, that strengthens and shapes their beautiful imaginations with truth tenants from the word of God.  as parents and loving guardians, we have assisted in good works of God in bringing up our children in the way of the Lord.

I want readers to appreciate the word of God so much more and that God is very much involved and interested in our lives. His provision is fully given to us in the understanding of the word of God

This topic comes from my own personal experience. I have learned that when I am afraid to remember that God loves me and He will help me
